Research on fresh expressions of Church in the Diocese of Leicester

God at Work (cover) - smallChurch Army’s Research Unit has loved partnering with the Diocese of Leicester for most of the last decade. We’ve loved learning about how God is at work in the diocese and to hear the stories of growth. The following reports are just a snapshot of this learning, particularly paying attention to work carried out in 2019. We hope that you enjoy reading them and are encouraged by the findings.

The summary report, God at Work (co-written with the diocese), can be downloaded here.

A longer report, Fresh Expressions of Church in the Diocese of Leicester (downloadable here), presents the findings in more detail.

Bishop of Leicester - small
“This report contains multiple areas of learning about fresh expressions of Church and other pioneering missional activity within the Diocese of Leicester. It contains a distillation of more than eight years of research the Diocese of Leicester has undertaken in partnership with Church Army’s Research Unit, as well as significant areas of wider diocesan learning about pioneering.”

The Rt Revd Martyn Snow, Bishop of Leicester
