We provide a free counselling service for young people aged 14-25. We have a team of counsellors who are very supportive and approachable.
What is counselling?
Quite simply, counselling gives you the opportunity to explore in a safe environment any difficulties or problems which you are experiencing. The counsellor will not judge you or give you advice, but will help you to explore your feelings and thoughts.
What happens in a counselling session?
Basically counselling is about you and what you want to talk about. We can't promise any 'quick fixes'; (we don't have a magic wand) but we can offer someone who will listen without being judgemental, a safe space to talk about your issues and perhaps the opportunity to look at things from a different perspective.
We have a waiting list but we will see you as soon as possible.
Where does counselling take place?
Counselling takes place at The Quaker Meeting House.
